Dental Care Assistance and Hearing Aid Assistance Funds
This program is designed for those in financial need with limited resources, limited or no insurance coverage and who do not have Medicaid. To be eligible for assistance care must be obtained from participating providers. Emergency dental assistance is also available for residents who are in severe pain or have severe swelling and need urgent dental assistance. A streamlined, simple request form for such assistance is available.
Applications for financial assistance for necessary dental care or for hearing aids are accepted from legal residents of the Saranac Lake Central School District. Necessary dental care does not include crowns, cosmetic procedures, or procedures deemed unnecessary to achieve and/or maintain overall good dental health. Hearing aids must be obtained through a licensed Audiologist.
