Elementary School Dental Hygienist
This Program provides a dental hygienist in the Saranac Lake Elementary School.
This unique program provides a Registered Dental Hygienist in the Saranac Lake School District’s elementary schools. It is perhaps the only district in NY State offering this service.
All children in the elementary school receive free dental exams, general dental education, and fluoride and/or dental sealants (with parental approval). Older students may be referred to the hygienist by the school nurse for evaluation.
